Café in the heart of Neandertal with homemade cakes and tarts and regional delicacies.
The address says it all: The Neandertal No. 1 is located in the middle of the Neandertal and has the house number 1. The managing director Caterina Klusemann opened the café with friends and family in 2017. It is now considered an insider tip - and not just for visitors to the Neanderthal Museum opposite. A small team led by the in-house pastry chef creates delicacies from regional products - also lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan.
