Many attractions for climbing and romping, in summer with a water play area - Velbert
The playground offers a wide range of activities for children of all ages on a total of around 6.000 square meters - the highlight in summer is the central water play area. There is also an enclosure with ponies, sheep, ducks and other animals. There are two publicly accessible, barrier-free toilets in the park.

Car
From the South, take the A535. Take the B224 exit in the direction of Velbert-Nord/Essen-Werden. Turn left onto Werdener Str./B224, continue on Werdener Str. At the roundabout, go straight on to Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse, turn right onto Kaiserstrasse, turn right onto Günther-Weisenborn-Strasse, turn left onto Am Herminghauspark. Parking on the street or at the Parkbad Velber-Mitte in Parkstrasse.
Public transport
Take the S6 to Ratingen-Ost. Continue with bus line 771 in the direction of Velbert ZOB, get off at the Velbert Weisenbornstraße stop. A footpath of approx. 300 m follows. Turn left onto Günther-Weisenborn-Straße and follow this. Herminghauspark is on the left.
