The adventure planetarium "Stellarium Erkrath" offers space enthusiasts spectacular expeditions into the vastness of the universe. State-of-the-art technology enables realistic full-dome video projections, 360-degree flights to foreign solar systems are undertaken and natural phenomena are explained in an understandable way. Here visitors can expect not only realistic flight and movement effects, but also sensational surround acoustics. In the observatory, powerful telescopes bring our planets and distant galaxies up close. Everyone who is interested is cordially invited to join us on a nocturnal tour of discovery through the sky every Friday. And those who are particularly interested in astronomy can look forward to a wide range of courses, working groups and further training for all age groups. The numerous events promise a varied offer for families, children and private groups.
