Beautiful reservoir in Heiligenhaus
Der Abtskücher Teich ist ein Stauteich im Naherholungsgebiet am Rande von Heiligenhaus und ist ideal zum Wandern und Spazieren gehen. Mit einer Vielfalt an Flora und Fauna lädt er zum Beobachten, Spazieren oder Verweilen ein. Auch Modellboote finden hier eine Anlegestelle.

Coming from the south, take the A535, at Dreieck 37-Velbert-Nord take the A44 in the direction of Heiligenhaus. Take exit 36-Hetterscheidt, continue west on Pinner Str. Turn right onto Abtskuecker Str. The Abtskuecker pond is on the right-hand side, there is also parking available there.
Public transport
Take the S6 to Ratingen-Hösel station. Continue with bus 770 in the direction of Velbert ZOB. Get off at the Heiligenhaus Abtskuecker Strasse stop. From there a footpath of approx. 1 km along Abtskuecher Str. The Abtkuecher pond is on the right-hand side.
