TYPICAL neanderland hosts

Enjoy in Rhine culture

So what will it be? A hearty Bergisch pancake, a hearty stew, or the classic Rheinische Sauerbraten? In addition maybe local vegetables, salads or crusty bread. And for dessert a fine sweet fruit dessert or maybe later a cake made according to a traditional recipe in one of the many cozy cafés. Last but not least, due to its location between the Niederberg and the Rhineland, neanderland can offer many culinary traditions. Always typical, always of the best quality from fresh, seasonal ingredients and always with our own loving touch. Whether typical regional dishes or creative personal interpretations - the restaurants and inns in the region offer you a unique culinary experience.

star cuisine

Top gastronomy in neanderland

Dignified dining in a stylish country house ambience, you can do that in the star restaurant Haus Stemberg in Velbert-Neviges, one of the top culinary addresses in North Rhine-Westphalia. Chef Sascha Stemberg has been a member of the "Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe" since 2009 and holds a Michelin star. He doesn't just serve exquisite turbot, lobster or saddle of venison. On the menu of the restaurant, which has received many awards, there are also heaven and earth with homemade black pudding, a selection of cheeses from Windrather Höfe or tartare made in-house. TYPICAL neanderland.
