The restaurant Zur Gießerei is located in the Best Western PLUS Parkhotel Velbert. Adjacent to the Herminghauspark, the restaurant has a sun terrace on the hotel's own part of the park. The breakfast buffet is stocked with hot and cold dishes, some from local suppliers. Dishes from midday are freshly prepared for you seasonally with regional ingredients.

From the south: A3 to AB-Kreuz Hilden, on the A46 to Wuppertal/Sonnborner Kreuz. From Sonnborner Kreuz: B224 to exit "Essen-Werden, Heiligenhaus" in the direction of Velbert Nord, then left in the direction of Zentrum. At the large crossing turn right into Poststraße, then take the 2nd street on the right into Günther-Weisenborn-Straße.

To Essen main station, continue with the SB 19 express bus to the ZOB stop or to Wuppertal main station, continue with the 649 bus to the ZOB stop.
