The neanderland RISE Discovery loop "Organic Farms in the Windrath Valley"  is an ideal destination for exploring the city of Velbert on foot. Afterwards, you can enjoy delicious refreshments with regional and seasonal products in the farm cafés or farm shops on the outskirts. Also stages 2-6 of the neanderland STEIGs lead past Velbert and invite hikers of all levels to explore and experience nature. If you prefer to sit in the saddle of a bicycle, you can ride the 40 km panoramic cycle path Niederbergbahn.
