Lots of experience on the Gut Halfeshof organic farm in the heart of neanderland
The beautiful and old Halfeshof farm is located on a ridge that stretches between the valleys of the Mettmanner and Hellenbrucher Baches.
It is in the immediate vicinity of the Neandertal and can be easily reached by car, bike, bus or on foot. The farm is surrounded by forest, fields and meadows where sheep, dwarf zebu cattle, miniature pigs, ponies and horses cavort.

car:
Coming from the north/south on the A3, take exit 19-Kreuz-Hilden in the direction of Erkrath/Neandertal. Drive north on Hochdahler Str., follow the road to the Neandertal. Turn right onto Talstraße towards Mettmann. Turn right onto Diepensiepen, the hiking car park is on the left, Gut Halfeshof 250m further on the left.
Please do not necessarily enter Diepensiepen 20 in your GPS, but rather Talstr. 189
Diepensiepen is an area of about 6 square kilometers and will not
found from any device. The Neandertal retirement home has the address:
valley street 189 and is very easy to find with the navigation device.
It is in the immediate vicinity of the farm and we are signposted from the Talstraße entrance. Blue signs with white lettering and logo stickers on the sign posts.
Drive towards Neandertal retirement home. Behind the hiking car park on the left, take the flat road towards Halfeshof (BRW). Please drive slowly! Attention children playing! (see green warning man with flag) Before the bollards, turn left onto Halfeshof. The parking lot is in front of the barn. It is approx. 250 m from the Talstrasse intersection to the car park.
Public transport:
Take the S-Bahn to Me-Neanderthal, from there take the 741/743 bus to the Wiesenthal bus stop.
