The Museum Abtsküche as the local history collection of the Heiligenhaus History Association shows numerous historical exhibits and installations of housekeeping, pre-industrial crafts and the beginnings of the castle industry in its permanent exhibition "Life and work in Heiligenhaus between tradition and modernity".

The Museum Abtsküche is embedded in the already existing museum landscape Abtsküche with the UBZ, the fire brigade museum and the forest museum.

Arriving by bike, follow the signs from the Panoramaradweg to the MuseumsLandschaft Abtskueche.

Arriving by car, navigation address 42579 Heiligenhaus Abtskuecker Str. 37, parking spaces nearby and/or follow the signs to MuseumsLandschaft Abtskueche.

Take the bus from Velbert, line 770 or 771 in the direction of Ratingen to Heiligenhaus, stop at the Ehemannshof on the main street, approx. 800 m walk to the museum of local history.

By bus from Ratingen Ost, line 771 in the direction of Velbert to the Heiligenhaus stop at Abtskuecker Straße on the Südring, approx. 800 m walk to the museum of local history.

By bus from Ratingen Hösel, line 770 in the direction of Velbert to Heiligenhaus, stop at Abtskuecker Straße on the Südring, approx. 800 m walk to the museum of local history.

By bus from Kettwig Markt or Velbert Klinikum Niederberg, line 774 directly to Heiligenhaus to the Abtsküche stop, 30 m walk to the museum of local history collection.

The Ratingen Ost and Ratingen Hösel stops can be easily reached with the S-Bahn line S6 from further afield.
