The meeting point for this tour is the parking lot of the Mettmann natural outdoor swimming pool on Toni-Turek Allee. From there you walk eastwards following the Mettmanner Bach. From the “Auf der Aue” estate it goes slightly uphill and you have a beautiful view of Mettmann and Wülfrath. From here it goes downhill again. You then follow the Mettmanner Bach to its source in Wülfrath. From here the hike goes back along the Kölnische Landstrasse towards Mettmann.
