Litterae Silesiae: Andreas Kossert presents “Escape – A Human History”.

Like no other, Kossert understands how to place the refugee movements of the early 21st century in a larger historical context. Always close to individual fates and in a moving way, Kossert shows what existential experiences of uprooting and hostility accompany the loss of one's homeland - and why it is always so difficult for refugees and displaced people to put down new roots in a foreign country.
