The Birkensauna is a historically grown wellness oasis with 11 saunas, two steam baths, two swimming pools, a hot whirlpool, a diving pool, two large catering areas, a sun terrace with an open bar, a large beer garden, a massage studio, an Ergoline tanning bed studio, and a Himalayan salt crystal bio sauna , massage chairs, relaxation rooms and a bedroom. In the family-run business, guests are part of the large Birkensauna family.

By bus to the birch sauna
The bus stop, which is just a few steps from our entrance, is called "Lindenweg" and can be reached by bus number 742 Mettmann-Haan.

The bus stop is in the immediate vicinity of our side entrance.
Millrather Straße stop • Bus line 742
approx. 500 m; 7 min. walk From the stop to Norosten go straight ahead on Millrather Straße (140 m), continue straight on Millrather Straße (82 m) then turn left onto Lindenweg, walk straight ahead for 140 m and then turn right onto Birkenweg (170 m). The target is on the right.
Rotdornweg stop • Bus line 742
approx. 550 m; 7 min walk From the stop, continue westwards on Rotdornweg (100 m) then turn left onto Bergstraße, walk straight ahead for 210 m, then turn right onto Birkenweg and continue to follow the street for approx. 230 m. The target is on the left.
Haan Gruiten bus station
Either take bus number 742 towards Haan Carl-Barth-Straße and get off at Rotdornweg. 7 min walk (described above) Or 12 min walk 1km approx. Follow Thunbuschstrasse/K20 to the east (350 m). Thunbuschstraße becomes Hochstraße/K20, then turn right onto Rotdornweg for 200 m. Turn left onto Bergstrasse and walk straight ahead for 210 m. Then turn right onto Birkenweg and follow the road for approx. 230 m. The target is on the left.
Arrival by S-Bahn
From the S-Bahn stop "Haan-Gruiten" you can reach us with the S-Bahn S8 / line Mönchengladbach - Wuppertal/Dortmund (via Düsseldorf). It's only about a 5-minute walk to the birch sauna. (slight incline) Some regional trains also stop in “Haan-Gruiten”.
