Hilla's reading shed / Ulla Hahn house

museum/exhibition
Those interested in literature immerse themselves in the world of words in Hilla's reading shed.
In the garden of the Ulla-Hahn-Haus in Monheim am Rhein, the writer of the same name discovered her love of language as a child and found a retreat for writing in the old shed behind the house. The replica of this reading shed is now a multimedia experience where visitors can experience in a small space how the Monheim writer Ulla Hahn discovered the big world of literature as "Kenk von nem Prolete" from the confines of her parents' house.

The Monchronik location, which opened in 2019, was developed in conceptual consultation with Ulla Hahn and invites you to discover and listen.
