The parish church of St. Peter and Paul is one of the notable sights in Ratingen. Its roots lie in a hall church, a small and flat-roofed assembly room from the 8th century. The west tower, which was built in 1220 and 1250, has established itself as a symbol of the city.
The special organ worlds of the historic town parish church are the technical masterpiece of Ratingen church music. With its unique console, the organ is a special attraction in NRW and attracts well-known guest organists from all over the world.
