The start at the Von-Böttinger-Straße car park can also be reached by public transport. You are quickly in the countryside and pass the Langenhorster Forest (drag railway / Langenhorst quarry settlement) towards Hespertal (mining traces and forges). You reach the Asbachtal via the Rottberg. On the way towards Vossnacken and Wilhelmshöhe there are always views over the Ruhr area. At the destination, the “Zur Wilhelmshöhe” restaurant, you can stop and return by bus, line OV 8.
