Oasis in Velbert
The Herminghauspark is a park in Velbert. It has various play and leisure facilities, a barbecue area and a circular hiking trail. It is located on the Niederbergbahn panoramic cycle path. Bicycle parking spaces are located at the Cranachstraße and Am Diek entrances. There are also two publicly accessible, barrier-free toilets.
Since 2011, the park has once again had an animal enclosure with various domestic and farm animal breeds, including a petting zoo. The opening hours of the petting zoo differ from those of the park.
In the Herminghauspark there is also a 6.000m² adventure playground with a water play area for the summer. Please refer to the details page for the playground for details.
